As I write this, I’m on a CA tour with Scott Gates, opening for Tommy Emmanuel. Fun times! On Sunday, Sept 27th I’ll be teaching my “Critical Listening to Bluegrass” class in Petaluma at the Folk Farm Music School. It’s kind of an in depth look at some of the nuances of bluegrass that many folks miss. Should be fun!
I’ve been transitioning to the business of selling books, and doing less teaching, so I “m not currently taking on new students. Sorry about that!
I’m still out there attending lots of events. I’ll be at Wintergrass (Seattle) and after that comes Sierra Grass (Ahwahnee, CA). I’ll be teaching at the CBA’s Music Camp in Grass Valley in June and also the Puget Sound Guitar Camp (Bremerton, WA) in August.
I’m now selling all eleven of my books in PDF form. There are now four Primer books, with a traditional bluegrass focus, all carefully thought out for progressive learning in logical and systematic manner.
