Lately Ive been doing some recording with my dad working on what may become a duet album. I have also been taking clawhammer banjo lessons from Tom Culbertson at I have new, old photos posted.

I had a great time at Grass Valley! My dad and I went up on Sunday and stayed all week long. I played a song at the camp's staff concert, i was an assistant to my dad who taught fiddle. I also did the Kids-on-Stage friday at the festival. All in all it was a fun week and I cant wait to go back next year!

For all those who are interested. On April 22 I'm playing in the School of Bluegrass at the Redwood Bluegrass Association with, Angelica Grim, Aissa Lee, Victor Skidanenko, my brothers Sullivan, and Michael, and my dad. We are opening up for Dale Ann Bradley.
It's going to be an awesome show! Hope to see you there!!

So far I'm doing pretty good on my New Year's resolution to practice two hours a day. Okay, I skip now and then but I'm doing pretty good. My latest piece is Take Five, a Dave Brubeck jazz number I need to know for a concert at my school. Thanks to Stephanie Dilling for the nice article she wrote about me in the Feb issue of Bluegrass Now Magazine!
01.18.06: I'm 13!
I had a great birthday(the 14th.) First i had a sleepover with a friend, the next morning we got up early to go shopping at the great mall. We ate lunch there, and when we got home we made cupcakes. They were delicious. Then i opened presents that my parents had gotten me. I got, speakers to put in my room, a makeup table, a David Grier guitar DVD, and the movie, Spinal Tap(it was hilarious!)

My New Year's Resolution is to practice two hours a day. So far so good! I'm also hoping to record some more music in January and also get some photos up here. I just learned a cool new tune on guitar called Bully of the town.
